XIA Crawl: your agents now search and read the web without you opening a single tab

Context

Scanning a bid document, comparing supplier catalogs or tracking a competitor's pricing usually means hours of open tabs, copy-pasting text by hand and building spreadsheets. Add long PDFs or sites that block access, and the task gets even slower and error-prone.

We're launching XIA Crawl, the web search and reading module built into NapsixB2B's agentic system. Nothing to install, no proprietary APIs to maintain, no fragile connectors: your agents go search the web the same way they'd search your Knowledge Base.

What changes

XIA now covers the whole web research cycle in one flow:

• Native web search: up to ten results with title, URL and summary, in a couple of seconds.
• Page and PDF reading: scrape_url returns clean Markdown; bid documents, catalogs and spec sheets in PDF are read at no extra cost.
• Block detection: if a site requires login or blocks access, XIA flags it in the chat instead of treating the error page as valid content.
• Page cache: an already-read page comes back in milliseconds, without using quota.
• Public Gateway API: the same POST /v1/search and POST /v1/scrape endpoints are available with your nsx_live_* key, ready to call straight from your code.

What it means for you

In practice:

• An 84-page bid document becomes a table with bid guarantee, delivery deadline and required track record.
• Mapping suppliers by region stops being copy-pasting catalogs: the agent reads them and hands them to you ready to compare.
• Knowing a client before a meeting — their history, products and team — takes one chat turn, not half an hour of research.
• Feeding your Knowledge Base from your own site, a sitemap or an RSS feed keeps everything indexed and searchable for the whole team, automatically.

Daily search and read quotas depend on your plan (Free, Starter, Pro, Business or Enterprise) and reset every day. PDF reading and page cache are included at every tier.

What we do on our end

We follow NapsixB2B's efficiency-first philosophy: every search and every read is audited in your Gateway usage history, and the system tells you when a result isn't reliable instead of disguising it as valid content. Every full-site crawl respects robots.txt.
